The need for a regulatory body for British cookery schools goes back a few years before the birth of The Independent Cookery Schools Association. The idea began simply as a conversation nearly a decade ago. A few years later, leaders within the industries of Cookery Schools, Media and Education became the driving force to get the Independent Cookery Schools Association off the ground. And the rest, as they say, is history.

As a Not-for-Profit regulatory body, now in our fifth year, we rely on our Cookery School Memberships and brand Partners to help fund our activities. Any profits being invested back into the organisation for training, and on-going communications.
